In the city of Kharkiv, you can find a considerable number of interesting and truly amazing places and cultural monuments, as well as a large number of various museums, entertainment and educational centers.
Kharkov is known throughout the CIS, because it proudly bears the status of an industrial and scientific center, and is also the first capital. Getting to Kharkov, start exploring the city from the South Station in the old part of the city. Near the station there is an amazing musical fountain and a very cozy and beautiful square where the chimes play the flute, notifying people of the time and this is a very interesting and enticing way.
There is also a street that was founded in the 17th century – Poltava Shlyakh. Walking along this street, you will immediately find yourself in the midst of houses made in ancient architecture that have retained their external facade to this day, and at the same time it will lead you straight to the city center.
On the way, you have the opportunity to see and appreciate the art gallery, go to the Holy Intercession Monastery, drink coffee at the Bear Cub coffee house, which opened at the beginning of the 20th century, and visit one of the famous sights of Kharkov – Lopanskaya embankment. </a >
Very near there is Constitution Square with a monument dedicated to the Independence of Ukraine. There are also other cultural buildings nearby, such as an old building that used to be a puppet theater and the central bank building. All monuments and buildings have their original appearance and are brought to perfect condition.
There is also a square, which is called “theatrical”, where there is a very famous and most interesting fountain in the whole country – the Mirror Stream. The jets of water in the fountain are located in a cascade and have a small lake under them, and the fountain itself is made in the form of a small gazebo.
Not far from the square with the fountain is Shevchenko Park with its trees that have been living for more than 300 years, a huge water cascade and the Kharkiv Zoo, which recently has its own dolphinarium and oceanarium. Right there, Freedom Square is connected to the park, which is known to the whole world and is the largest square in Europe.
The square looks more than excellent, and there is no way to describe all its beauty, it’s easier to see everything for yourself. A monument to Lenin was erected on the square and a network of the most expensive branded boutiques is spread nearby. And not far away right there on the square is the hotel “Kharkov”, which stands out against the background of all other hotels in the city with its comfort.
